Bengaluru: Voicing his opinion on the ongoing Sabarimala issue, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said that it is not proper for women to enter the Ayyappa temple forcibly.
Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, he stated that some traditions and customs have been followed for centuries, keeping in mind a few invisible forces and the energy in the particular temple and shrine.
“It is not fair to enter the temple forcibly. The issue should be resolved through talks,” he said.
“Few call it superstitious belief. Others call it as belief, traditions and customs. First, we must find out why such a custom was introduced,” he added.
