Bengaluru: K. S. Eshwarappa, the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, said on Sunday October 3 that the Karnataka Congress will be divided into two before the next Assembly elections.
The Minister was speaking to the reporters during a bicycle rally organised for commemorating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. “Siddaramaiah and D. K. Shivakumar, both members of the Congress Party, desire to be in power. Because of their prestige, the party will be divided. The leaders are delusional, and they will go to any extent to gain power,” he stated.
He further stated that Siddaramaiah dreams of becoming Chief Minister again, while Shivakumar tries in vain to lure BJP workers and leaders. Both should be admitted to a hospital, he added.
