Bengaluru: Karnataka inked a multimillion loan with France, after CM Siddaramaiah signed a loan worth 200 million Euros for the second phase of Namma Metro project in Bengaluru here on Friday. The loan will boost the Namma metro project.

Speaking on the occasion, CM said that the Metro project is essential for the fast growth of Bengaluru. CM also thanked AFD of France for granting the loan.
AFD earlier had granted a loan of 110 million Euros for the first phase of metro project.
