Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s sudden visit to New Delhi has fuelled speculations. This has given rise to debate within the BJP once again with regard to Cabinet expansion and leadership change. However, many believe that the sudden visit is to discuss the upcoming elections for Rajya Sabha, Legislative Council and local bodies
According to the information available, the CM is supposed to meet Union Ministers. However, Bommai’s meeting with BJP’s High Command cannot be ruled out, according to party sources.
CM Bommai left for New Delhi on the afternoon of Friday May 20. His return is yet to be scheduled.
