Bengaluru: A Special Court in Bengaluru on Thursday January 6 has ordered five-year-imprisonment to a man who undertook fake currency circulation. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had filed three chargesheets in this regard.
The convicted has been identified as Shahnoyaj Kasuri. He has been booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 120(b), 489 (b) and 489 (c).
The case was registered in March 2018 wherein 41 fake Indian currency notes having face value of Rs. 82,000 was recovered.
