Bengaluru: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has returned to the former style of descriptive type questions, which was used during the 2021 Board examinations.

Students taking the State’s class 10 (SSLC) Board exams this academic year will be required to write descriptive answers.

In a recent notification, the KSEEB specified the change in guidelines for holding the March-April 2022 preparatory and final examinations.

The officials informed that the MCQ pattern was implemented during the 2020-21 academic year, officials claimed, in light of the Covid-19 situation.

The exams will be conducted for 100 marks for Core subjects, second and third languages while first language for 125 marks.
