Bengaluru: With an increase in Covid – 19 positive cases in New Delhi, the State Government has advised to use masks as a precaution in closed spaces to prevent upsurge in the number of cases.
Health Minister Dr. Sudhakar said that the State has been observing week on week, New Delhi and other two states. In the last two weeks, there has been an increase consistently. We have also asked hospitals for information. A review meeting has been planned to be held with Health Department today, he informed.
Minister said that though an advisory for usage of masks has been issued it has not been taken seriously. We urge people to at least wear masks indoors.
