Bengaluru: Senior Congress Leader, advocate, and party National Spokesperson Brijesh Kalappa has quit the party.
He submitted his resignation letter to party Interim President Sonia Gandhi.
In his letter, he stated that in the recent past he has been finding himself lacking in passion, while his own performance has been listless and perfunctory.
“It is under these circumstances that I am left with little option but to resign from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress and to end an association that began in 1997,” he further stated in his resignation letter.
According to the sources, KPCC leaders are planning to meet him on Wednesday June 1 to convince him to reconsider the decision.
