Bengaluru: Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) authorities have decided to raise the walls protecting some of the metro lines’ upward and downward ramps following incidents of stone pelting at trains.
Officials at the BMRCL made the decision after miscreants damaged the trains’ glass.
According to sources, stone pelting was reported along the Sampige Road and Magadi Road ramps.
As a precautionary measure, the BMRCL has already deployed security officers to locations where the train is on the ground level.
