Bengaluru: A person died on the spot after a gas cylinder exploded while filling balloons with gas at a birthday celebration at an apartment.
The deceased has been identified as Dinesh (19), a Parappana Agrahara resident. He worked at a company that provided balloons for birthday parties.
Dinesh and his assistant Mahadesh had arrived at the apartment complex with the contract of filling gas in balloons for a birthday party.
When the two were filling balloons in the building’s grounds near his parked bike, Mahadesh entered the residence to fetch some water. Meanwhile, Dinesh was instantly killed as the cylinder exploded.
