Bengaluru: Three BJP MLAs, who are considered close to BJP state president and former CM B S Yeddyurappa, reportedly met with municipal administration minister Ramesh Jarakiholi on Friday night. There is as yet no clarity about what was communicated between the leaders.
However, speaking to reporters later, Siddu Savadi, who was the BJP chief whip when BSY was the CM, said that it was a cordial meeting and not political.
If sources in the BJP are to be believed, BSY is exploring all the possibilities to topple the JDS-Congress coalition government in the state. “Ramesh Jarakiholi is ready to switch sides. But, his demand for the DCM’s post is the only hurdle,” said sources in the BJP.
Meanwhile, Ramesh Jarakiholi has rubbished all the rumours stating that a Congress leader is behind all the false rumours and news.
