Three held with hashish oil worth Rs 7.76 Cr in B’luru

Bengaluru: Three people were arrested in Bengaluru, including a woman, and 12kg of hashish oil worth Rs. 7.76 Crore was recovered from them.

The accused has been identified as Vikram alias Vicky (23) of Madiwala, Bengaluru, Sigil Varghese (23) of Kottayam, Kerala and Vishnupriya (22) of Coimbatore.

According to sources, Sigil and Vishnupriya were a couple living in the Kuvempu layout in a rented house. The accused is said to have brought hashish oil from Vishakhapatnam and sold it in small plastic containers.

Vikram allegedly obtained hashish oil from the couple and sold it to various buyers throughout the State.

A case has been registered at Hulimavu Police Station.
