Bengaluru: One of the tourist attractions of Mysuru city is Trin Trin, the Public bicycle sharing system. Now the BBMP is all set to launch similar project in Bengaluru city. As part of the proposal, 271 docking centers will come up across the city soon.
According to the sources in the BBMP, these docking centers are coming up at an estimated cost of Rs.7.72 crores. The BBMP wants to launch the scheme in the next 6 months and use the dockless technology in which cycles will be unlocked using the smart phones. The scheme is being implemented across the city at an estimated cost of Rs.80 crores, informed an officer.
