Tumakuru: A dejected lover stabbed a young woman to death with a knife for allegedly not accepting his love in Sira Taluk on Monday, April 5.
The victim woman was identified as Kavya. The accused man has been identified as Iranna.
When the woman was on her way to college on Monday, Iranna confronted her and stabbed her to death when she refused his proposal.
Police have reportedly arrested the accused. A case has been registered at the local police station and investigations are underway.
