Tumakuru: Speaking to reporters here on Saturday September 25, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai denounced the call for Bharat Bandh by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha against the Centre’s three contentious farm laws on September 27. He said that it will disrupt the economic activities post Covid and that it was not in the interest of the nation.

CM argued that people have just now started performing various tasks after suffering for one-and-half years due to the pandemic. “It is our duty to make sure that people should not face hardship,” Bommai said.

Meanwhile, several organisations and associations have lent their support to the Bandh.
