Tumakuru: “The BJP of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah is there in State and not that of Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa. Modi and Shah are sucking the blood of farmers, women and the poor by imposing taxes,” said Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy.
Speaking after inducting K. T. Shantakumar into the JD (S), he said that the BJP of Former Chief Minister and undisputed Leader of the Lingayat Community B. S. Yediyurappa has been lost in the State. He appealed to the Lingayat Samaj to support the JD (S), which has taken a pro-people stand.
“The voters of the Lingayat Community have responded to Yediyurappa’s appeal and voted for MLA B. C. Nagesh. But now don’t listen to Yediyurappa,” he said.
