Tumakuru: The officials of the Health Department appointed a driver for the additional ambulance and it began operating from Friday October 21. The ambulance service had halted for over a month.
As per requirement in the Taluk, an emergency ambulance was deputed from Turuvekere and sent to Madhugiri. But the vehicle was parked behind the hospital on the pretext of not having a driver for at least a month.
This vehicle will render its service within 15 kms from Medigeshi and will come to the aid of the patients.
