Tumakuru: In a shocking incident, a man was stabbed to death in a government bus after he requested the other youth to move front.

Irshad, a resident of Holavanahalli, assaulted Zabiullah, a second PUC student of Koratagere Ravindra Bharathi College and resident of same Village with a knife. The incident took place after Irshad was asked to move front as there was no place to even stand.

Koratagere PSI Chetan Kumar visited the spot. It is learnt that Irshad, a student, was taken into custody by the police and later the case settled through conciliation.

In the past, there have been reports in newspapers that students are struggling for buses. The public alleged that the incident would not have happened if the transport department had woken up to it.
