Tumakuru: Akhila Karnataka Brahmin Sabha President Ashok Haranahalli said that it is natural for criticism to come in public life and beyond that, those who are MLAs have to work towards responding to the sufferings of the people.

Speaking at a felicitation function organised at Shankaramutt in the city, He said that not only Jyothi Ganesh was elected as a MLA in the elections but also C. K. Rammurthy, from Jayanagar constituency in Bengaluru. It is a matter of pride that C.K Ramamurthy has won. There has been many years of struggle behind this victory. Criticism is natural in public life.

It is difficult to do politics in the present situation. Legislators have to do the work of responding to the sufferings of the people. The work of an MLA is not as easy task. It is a matter of responsibility, he said.
C.K. Ramamurthy has helped many poor people through Raksha Foundation same way MLA Jyothi Ganesh is also serving and hoped that this will happen continuously.

MLA G.B. Jyothi Ganesh said, “The support of the Brahmin community is also enough for my victory. We have done many development works under the smart city project in the district. This is also the reason for my victory. I try to maintain the trust that people have reposed in me. We are not Gods I work within our limits. Your community will be helped in the coming days,” he said.

MLA C K Ramamurthy said, “Elections in Bengaluru are very difficult. I am happy that I have won despite the free announcements of the parties. The people have appreciated my service and blessed me and I will work towards responding to the sufferings of the people,” he said.

Tumakuru District Brahmin Sabha President H.N. Chandrasekhar speaking on the occasion, said that MLA G.B. Jyothi Ganesh was responsible for the development of many temples. It is a matter of pride that 11 MLAs from our community have been elected as MLAs. Ashok Haranahalli has made many contributions to our community after he was elected as the President.
