Twin building collapse: No arrests made as cops busy guarding MLAs

building collapseBengaluru: The engineers, contractors and three owners of the two buildings that collapsed at Hutchins Road in Cooke Town on July 10, are still scot-free. The city police are yet to make any arrests as they are busy providing security to the MLAs.

It may be the called that in the twin 4-storey building collapse five people, including a four-year-old girl were killed and four others rescued from the debris. The deceased included two labourers, a security guard and his family.

The three owners Mohammed Saheb Amir, Mohammed Imtiaz, and Pratap Rudrani, engineers and contractors have been booked under IPC 304.
