Benglauru: The Victoria Hospital police have arrested two persons and recovered three stolen autorickshaws and three two-wheelers from their possession.
The police have identified the accused as Ashraf alias Syed Lalu (29), residing at 1st Cross, 1st Main, MGR slum, Kanakapura Main Road, Banashankari, and Yashir (28), residing at Kaveri Nagar slum, behind Banashankari temple.
According to the police, the two accused were moving suspiciously near Vani Vilas Hospital. They tried to escape on a Pulser vehicle (KM 02 HA6359) when the police tried to stop them to verify the documents of the vehicle. The police have succeeded in nabbing them.
The police have estimated the value of the vehicles recovered from the accused at Rs 2.75 lakh.
