Two more held in PSI recruitment case

Bengaluru: Murder of RTI activist, four arrested

Bengaluru: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested two more people, including an aspirant who took the PSI exam at the Gyan Jyoti School. The total number of arrests has now reached 12.

According to sources, the arrested have been identified as Viresha Shiroor and Sharanabassappa. Viresha appeared for the exam at Kalaburagi’s Gyan Jyoti English medium school exam centre. Shrabassappa, on the other hand, had helped another accused, Annayya Hiyali Desai, a gunman for MLA M. Y. Patil, who was arrested on Thursday.

The President of Gyan Jyoti School, Divya Hagargi, and the school’s principal Kashinath are still absconding.
