Bengaluru: The state government appointed new Vice-Chancellors (VCs) for the two Universities.
Nagesh V Betakote has been appointed as the VC for the Karnataka State Dr Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing arts university, Mysuru. He is presently serving as the in-charge VC of the same university.
BK Tulasimala has been appointed as the new VC of the Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura. She was serving Krishnadevaraya University, Ballari as the registrar.
These two posts were lying vacant for the last few months. Governor Vajubhai Vala made this new appointment on Friday.
