Two Nigerian students held for selling cocaine

Bengaluru: The Kothanur police have arrested two Nigerians for selling cocaine. The police have identified the arrested persons as Chinedu Obhalo alias Emmanual Ackah (32) and Sopuruchi Mensah Godwin Ubi (30).

nigeria1The police said both have student visas valid till September 17, 2017. They were residing at Thaponagara Main Road, Chikkagubbi in Bengaluru. The police said both were the students of SSR College, Chikkagubbi. The police have seized 10 gms of cocaine, five mobile phones and one weighing machine and Rs 1,56,040 cash from them.

According to the police, both have confessed to the crime and told the police they used to get cocaine from a Nigerian in Mumbai and sell people in Bengaluru in small quantities.

The Kothanur police have registered a case and are investigating.
