Kasargod: Two died when the rider lost control over the vehicle and hit an electric pole in Trikannad in Bekal police station limits on Monday, December 26.
Shanmugham (55) and his relative Shivakumar(48), residents of Kotikulam are the deceased, while Babu aged 14 sustained injuries.
They were returning after attending a regional fest in Bekal when the incident occurred.
All three were rushed to the hospital but two succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
The bodies have been shifted to Kasargod general hospital. They will be handed over to the relatives after post mortem.
Bekal police are investigating.
