Bengaluru: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will soon conduct an aerial survey of the flood-affected districts in Karnataka and Maharashtra.
He will be accompanied by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and other senior BJP leaders.
Shah’s visit has gained importance following rampant criticism by Karnataka’s people of the state government’s poor handling of the flood situation.
It can be recalled that CM BSY has been running the show single-handedly as the members of his Cabinet have not yet been appointed.
Following Shah’s visit, the CM cancelled his visit to Dakshina Kannada, which is the most recent district in the state to be hit by floods.
