Bengaluru: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the State on September 2.
He accepted the invitation extended by the Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai who is in Delhi. As per the plan, Shah will visit Hubballi, home turf of Bommai on September 2 and attend a State government event.
Bommai is in Delhi to discuss about various pending projects of the Karnataka including permission for the Mekedatu project. He will meet BJP National President J.P. Nadda on August 26 and hold discussion about party related matters.
It is the first visit of Shah to Karnataka after the change in state’s Chief Minister.
