Bengaluru: State Covid war-room Chief Munish Moudgil said an analysis of Covid – 19 cases from December 1 to January 7 showed that unvaccinated people are more likely to get infected.

Munish said, “Unvaccinated were 10 times more likely to get infected, and 30 times more likely to land in ICU beds than vaccinated. We found that unvaccinated Covid – 19 patients are 10 times more than the ones who have been vaccinated. Further, among Covid patients who required hospitalisation, unvaccinated people were 30 times more in number.”

Munish added that only 3 percent of the citizens remain unvaccinated which is a huge relief.
