Upsurge in Covid cases: Holiday declared for schools in Mysuru

Bengaluru: The Mysuru District Administration has declared holidays for primary and secondary schools in Mysuru Taluk, including the City, owing to an rise in Covid – 19 cases.

On the evening of Tuesday January 11, the District Administration announced closure of all the schools including nurseries, anganavadis, primary schools and high schools till further orders.

This order is applicable only to the schools in City and Mysuru Taluk. Schools in other taluks will function as usual.

It can be recalled that earlier Bengaluru and Belagavi District Administrations had announced closure of schools.
