Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (KSPCR) has taken suo moto action and issued summons to L.R. Shivarame Gowda, chairman of Royale Concorde International School, Rekha Vinod, principal of the Kalyan Nagar branch, and the local Block Education Officer.
They have been asked to appear before the commission on December 4.
The summons are in connection with an incident on Wednesday (Nov. 22) when a pane of glass from the fifth floor of the building’s façade fell onto the ground floor, splintered and injured an 11-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl.
The boy sustained a skull bone fracture.
On Thursday (Nov. 23), angry parents gathered outside the school and staged a protest against the management.
