Bengaluru: The #MeToo movement has outed many alleged sexual harassers in various fields including films, advertising, media and politics and now another politician of Karnataka has been accused under #Metoo movement.
A member of the Mahila Morcha Madhuri Mudhol on Friday, October 19 alleged that union minister and former Karnataka chief minister (CM), D V Sadananda Gowda had behave in an inappropriate manner with her when he was the CM of the state.
Madhuri Mudhol in her post had mentioned that Sadananda Gowda used to always invite her to his office and used to ask her out for lunch.
She also alleged that Sadananda Gowda used to misbehave with her by touching her body and also had tried to have physical contact with her.
Sadananda Gowda reacting to Madhuri’s allegation said that he was not serving as the CM of the state when Madhuri was a functionary of Mahila Morcha, instead, he was serving as state president of the BJP at that time. He further, justified that people who know him will never believe in all these rumours.
Madhuri deleted her post as soon as the news started to spread.
