Woman alleges Hennur inspector of sexual harassment

Bengaluru: A woman filed a  complaint with Police Commissioner against Hennur Police Inspector Vasantha Kumar of sexual harassment and booking of false case.

The complaint filed by woman alleged that she leased her house to sisters, Sumathi and Varalakshmi. But the sisters did not pay the water tax since a year. She alleged that when she questioned the tenants both sisters allegedly assaulted her while her husband attempted to molest her.

When she visited to file FIR against them with the police, inspector Vasantha Kumar gave her two options that either she should give him Rs. 5 lakh or should have physical relationship. She alleged that when she insisted on booking case against the accused, the inspector filed a case against complainant by accepting false complaint from them.

Further, she alleged that she was man-handled by inspector and also he booked false case of atrocity against her. She took bail and again approached inspector with medical report but inspector again threatened her that he would file another case of atrocity against her. The woman as a last effort approached police commissioner Kamal Pant to get justice.
