Bengaluru: In a tragic and shocking incident, a 32-year-old woman was found unconscious in a pool of blood in an apartment complex next to her paying guest accommodation at Tavarekere, near Madiwala, southeast Bengaluru, in the early hours of Sunday.

Police have identified the victim as Linet Andrew, who has been working with Mico Bosch company.

The police suspect Linet Andrew, who is from Kerala, jumped from the terrace of her four-storey PG accommodation and hit the ground of an adjacent apartment complex. Linet was suffering from depression since the death of her husband one year ago, police said.

They also said that Linet was found in a pool of blood around 3 am on the premises of the apartment complex adjacent to her PG. The apartment security staff noticed the woman and rushed her to St John’s Hospital.

The police have filed a case and probe is on. They said she was still unconscious with severe injuries all over her body. Doctors said her condition is critical. Police said she was staying at the second floor of the building along with her younger sister, who works as a nurse at a private hospital.
