Bengaluru: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for 23 districts till October 16.
Heavy rainfall expected in most parts of the districts on Tuesday October 12 and Wednesday October 13. According to the authorities, low depression in the Bay of Bengal is causing the rainfall.
Meanwhile, on Monday night, the entrance of the Kempegowda International Airport was waterlogged disrupting the vehicle movement. Further, waterlogging is reported from many parts of Bengaluru City including Malleshwaram, Majestic bus stand, Rajajianagar etc. Drain water has entered several houses in the low lying areas.
