Hassan: The movement of government and private buses, and especially emergency vehicles are now allowed to ply through the Shiradi Ghat. Hassan District Deputy Commissioner R. Girish has passed the instruction to this effect.
It can recalled here that all vehicular traffic was stopped through the Donigal stretch the ghat experienced a landslide. Further, the entry of vehicles was suspened between 6 pm and 6 am.
However, with current instructions of the DC, all the vehicles are again allowed to ply on the ghat during the day.
