Channapatna : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is unfit to be called a Hindu, said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state chief B S Yeddyurappa, responding to former’s statement of equating the BJP to “Kauravas of Mahabharath.”
Speaking at the massive Parivartana Rally in town here on January 17, BSY said Congress drawing parallels to Pandvas amounted to listening to the versus of Bhagavadgita from a ghost.
After relishing fish meal Siddaramaiah visited a temple in Dharmasthala and has not even stepped into Krishna temple, said BSY accusing the CM and termed him unfit to be branded a Hindu.
Astonished by the overwhelming crowd response for the rally, due to huge crowd mobilisation effort by local leader C P Yogeshwar, BSY said, “It appears people have come to celebrate the electoral victory of C P Yogeshwar and not take part in Parivathana rally,” showering all praises on C P Yogeshwar, who embraced BJP some time ago.
BSY assured of revealing his dreams and the details of blue print he had prepared for the state to fulfill the aspirations of people during the valedictory of Parivartana Yatra in the presence of PM Modi in Bengaluru next month. Modi supposed to visit the state on January 27 has rescheduled his visit to February 4 before National Congress President Rahul Gandhi embarks on a 3-day state tour.
Congress government has emptied the entire coffers and is running the show on loans, alleged BSY.
The High court has reprimanded the state government over sand auction policy and its stance on transfer of government officials. This exposes the “Tughlaq” kind of governance, BSY chided.
