I-T raids Congress legislators’ aides

Karwar/Dharwad: The Income Tax (I-T) sleuths conducted raids on the houses of aides of two Congress legislators in Karwar and Dharwad.

 

In the first incident, officials from I-T department from Bengaluru and Hubballi swooped on the residence of Mangaldas Kamath, located at Avarsa near Ankola. They were seen verifying the documents. Prior to this, they had visited the residence of MLA Satish Sail in Sadashivgad area of the town.

 

In another incident, I-T sleuths raided the residence of Prashanth Kekare, personal aide of minister Vinay Kulkarni. Kekare’s residence is located at Rushi Park near Sapthapura in Dharwad city.
