Karwar: BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel has alleged that the Congress’ Yatra through ‘Prajadhvani’ has been punctured five times.

Addressing a BJP Rally at Maladevi Maidan in the City on Tuesday February 7, he said that the voice of Congress workers is hidden through the Prajadhvani Yatra, the Congress house is emptying, and the BJP is filling the house. “Congress and JD (S), which were supposed to fight against the BJP on development and social issues, are spreading politics of hatred in the State on personal issues,” he said.

He challenged Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President D. K. Shivakumar, Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah and Senior Leader R. V. Deshpande to decide how much funds were given by the Congress for the development of the State. “While Kumaranna sat in the Taj Hotel and ruled, Siddaramaiah was a murderer as Chief Minister,” he alleged.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, “I have travelled around the coastal regions knowing Kalyana Karnataka, it became clear when I travelled across the State and came to Karwar. With the victory in Karwar in the upcoming elections, the BJP will get 150 seats in the State”.

“During Siddaramaiah’s tenure, 24 Hindus were killed. The cow murderers were protected. In 2018, the BJP Government got more seats as the people of the State had decided not to have such an arrogant Chief Minister. However, the Congress and the JD (S) came together to ensure that the BJP was not allowed to come to power. However, there was a dramatic development in the history of the State. As many as 17 MLAs of the ruling party quit the Government and helped the BJP to form the Government. As a result, the transformation has begun in the State. He said that under the leadership of Former Chief Minister B. S.Yediyurappa and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the process of development has begun in the State,” he said.
