Karwar: People from different taluks of the District have reached the Deputy Commissioner’s office to submit their complaints to the Central Committee regarding the implementation of the Ankola-Hubballi Railway Project.
The central team of the Government arrived from Delhi for the last two days and went on a tour. They already held a meeting in the Deputy Commissioner’s Office regarding the implementation of the scheme and collected information and reports from the officials. They also visited to Ankola-Yallapuru parts and inspected the place.
A public awareness meeting was held on Wednesday September 27 and people came from different taluks of the District in support of the Ankola-Hubballi Project. Tents were arranged for the people who have come to file a complaint in the DC office premises. The Central Committee will be in the District till Thursday September 29 to get information about the outline of the scheme.
