Karwar: Sri Shivayogi Siddarama was a contemporary Vachanakara of Bhakti Bhandari Basavanna and one of the greatest achievers of this land, said Tahasildar R. V. Katti.
Speaking after paying floral tributes at the District-level Sri Shivayogi Siddarameshwara Jayanti organised jointly by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat and The Department of Kannada and Culture at the DC’s Office Auditorium here on Saturday January 14, he said that Sri Shivayogi Siddarama was an iconic yogi and his vachanas and principles have always inspired us and we all have to imbibe them in our lives.
Department Assistant Director Dr. K. M. Ramachandra, Bhovi Samaja District President Thimma Reddy, Former President Bharamappa Kattimani, Teacher Mahadev Rane and students were present.
