Karwar: Karwar team has completed 6 years of involvement in various social activities and the youth festival programme was organised on April 29, said Shivam Karwar the leader of the team.
Addressing a press conference he said that our Karwar team formed by youth is promoting tourism, local business and art. Also, our team has been continuously involved in various social activities for the past 6 years, he said.
He said that more than 50 young men and women are part of the team, and in the past they have created awareness about various programmes in schools and colleges in the context of Covid, and now a youth festival programme has been organised in Rangammadira of the city on April 29 to give an opportunity to Karwar youth to showcase their talent, he noted.
Before the event more than 50 different activities, competitions, singing, dancing and food competitions are organised for the youth through offline and online programmes. Also, for the benefit of the youth, a youth summit and dialogue on mental health, love and relationship, career and entrepreneurship will be held at Amrita Ora on April 2, he said.
More than 200 contestants have already registered. The main programme will be held on August 29 at 5.00 pm at the District Theatre. During this time, there will be a folk culture show and a live band performance, he noted.
He said that free online and offline registration is being done for those coming to the programme in the wake of the election.
