Sirsi: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has given ‘credits’ to all the 17 disqualified MLAs saying that it was because of them that he could become the CM of the state.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, November 24, after campaigning for Yellapur constituency BJP candidate Shivaram Hebbar he said, “All the 17 MLAs were upset with the conduct of the previous Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition government. Due to this, they had resigned. It is because of Shivaram Hebbar and 16 other disqualified MLAs that I could become the CM. After he wins the by-poll, he will become the minister in my cabinet.”
Meanwhile, BSY taunted former chief minister Siddaramaiah and said that it was sure that the latter was sure that Congress party would lose the by-polls.
