Karwar: Minister of Railways of India (Minister of State) Suresh Angadi flagged off the Dharwad – Alnavar – Dandeli railway line on Saturday, November 3.
Suresh inaugurated the rail line by flagging off a Southwest passenger train at Dharwad railway station.
Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, former minister R V Deshpande, and others were present.
It can be recalled the railway service had begun on the Ambewadi – Alnavar rail line in the year 1918, which connects Belagavi and Hubbali rail lines.
