Karwar: Two among the four college students on an excursion to Kanoor falls near Basal met a watery grave on October 9 and their bodies were retrieved after prolonged search today.
Kigan Fernandes (21), a resident of Kalamma Nagar and Silvan Lawrence Fernandes (17) of Ganpathigalli in Yellapur town are the deceased students.
Four students of Yellapur College had gone out on a picnic and when two did not return, the worried parents lodged a complaint with the police.
During the search, their bodies were traced in Kanoor falls.
Yellapur police registered a case into the incident.
