Kasaragod: BJP stages protest against AKM

Kasaragod: The BJP-led a protest march to the MLA’s Office in Uppala on Tuesday February 28 to protest against the failure of Manjeshwara MLA A. K. M. Ashraf for not fulfilling his promise to undertake waste treatment.

The protest was inaugurated by BJP State President K. Surendran. District President Ravish Tantri Kuntaru presided over the protest.

Leaders Harishchandra Manjeshwara, Balakrishna Shetty, Satishchandra Bhandari, A. K. Kayyar, Adarsh B. M., Lokesh Nonda, Manikanta Rai, Jayalakshmi Bhat and Muralidhar Yadav led the team.

The protest was held against the AKM’s promise of taking action within two months with regard to waste disposal and processing in Uppala and Manjeshwar limits, if he was elected as an MLA.
