Kasaragod: In a tragic incident, a scooter rider was killed when a KSRTC bus ran over him in here on afternoon of Tuesday February 27. The incident took place in the Old Bus Stand premises on M. G. Road here.
The deceased has been identified as Muhammed Fazil Tabsir (23) of Kadavat Mogar in Mogral Puttur. The accident took place around 12.00 pm. The incident took place when the rear wheel of a KSRTC bus ran over Fazil Tabsir, who was thrown off the road by the scooter, when another vehicle passing from the front suddenly applied the brakes. The seriously injured rider was rushed to the City’s Government General Hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
The City Police reached the spot and launched an investigation and took into custody the KSRTC bus that led to the accident. The body has been kept in the mortuary of Kasaragod General Hospital. Fazil Tabsir Mogral was an employee of a bakery in Puttur
