Kasaragod: In a tragic incident, a compressor tractor overturned near Kattadamane Bridge on Paivalike – Chevara Road in the District, killing the driver and injuring another person.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh Pon (28), a native of Runkanv in Nepal. The accident took place on Wednesday January 11. Suresh, who was trapped under the tractor after it skidded off the road, was rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru after his condition deteriorated. However, he did not respond to treatment and died.
Suresh had reportedly joined the job only two days ago. Manjeshwara Police has registered a case.
