Kasaragod: In a tragic incident, a man died after his leg slipped and a sword hit his chest as he was holding one in his hand near Munnad on the morning of Tuesday September 27.
The deceased has been identified as M. Joseph (66). In the morning, when he was on his way to a nearby rubber garden with his wife, he accidentally slipped and fell and the tapping sword in his hand hit his chest. Hearing his wife’s cries, the locals rushed him to the hospital but could not save his life.
The body has been kept in the District Hospital and will be handed over after postmortem.
