Kasaragod: Popular Front of India (PFI) has called for a hartal in Kerala to protest against the NIA raids on the houses and offices of PFI leaders and the arrest of its leaders.
The incident of stone pelting on a goods lorry in Kumbale took place on the morning of Friday September 23. No other incidents that would disturb peace has been reported so far.
Bus services, including KSRTC, have come to a complete halt in the District. Private vehicles are plying as usual. Hartal is going on from six in the morning to six in the evening. Protests led by PFI activists at major centres.
PFI leaders stated that the protests will be held at Hosangadi, Uppala, Kasaragod and other places.
