Kasargod: To address the growing need for medical oxygen, the Kasargod District is all set to launch an oxygen plant here.
The plant estimated at the cost of Rs. 1.87 crore is set up in the business park of Chattamchali. Local bodies have joined their hands in the construction of the plant under the leadership of Zilla Panchayat President Baby Balakrishnan and the team. Care System has taken the responsibility of setting up the oxygen plant in Kasargod.
District Panchayat has contributed Rs. 50 Lakh for the project and all the Gram Panchayats and Municipalities have reserved the fund for the same.
